Who We’re Looking For We’re enrolling children and teens who: ✅ Are from birth to under 18 years old ✅ Have iron deficiency anemia caused by non-dialysis dependent chronic kidney disease, or ✅ Have iron deficiency anemia that does not improve with oral iron or are intolerant to oral iron What’s Involved Participants will:

Vitiligo Study (Children)

Do you have a child diagnosed with vitiligo? You may be eligible to participate in the TRuE-ViP clinical research study, focused on evaluating an investigational cream that may help treat nonsegmental vitiligo in children

We’re currently enrolling children who:
✅ Children Aged 2 to 11 years old ✅ Diagnosed with nonsegmental vitiligo ✅ Have vitiligo on the face and at least one other body region Participants will: ✅ Attend 11 study visits over the course of 14 months ✅ Receive the investigational cream and all related study care at no cost ✅ Be reimbursed for reasonable time and travel expenses Why Join? ✅ Contribute to the development of new vitiligo treatments for kids ✅ Receive expert care and monitoring during the study ✅ Get involved in clinical research that could help many other families in the future Contact Us:

Type 1 Diabetes Blood Collection Study (Adults)

Study Details:
Case Inclusion Criteria ✅ Donor must be diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes ✅ Donor is at least 18 years old ✅ Donor is under the age of 30 years old ✅ Donor has fasted for a minimum of 8 hours Exclusion Criteria 🛑 Donor is under 18 years old 🛑 Donor is over 29 years old 🛑 Donor has been diagnosed with kidney damage or Chronic Kidney Disease 🛑 Donors who are known to be positive for infectious diseases (HIV, Hepatitis, Syphilis) 🛑 Donors who have already participated in this project What to Expect: Study Visit: One-time visit lasting 30 minutes to 1 hour Involves: A simple blood draw Compensation: $100 for your time Transportation Costs: Can be reimbursed if needed |

What is a Clinical Study?

Each study is designed to answer specific questions about how a product works and its advantages over others. Every study has its own unique procedures and requirements for both our staff and our volunteers.

✕Advances in medicine and science are the results of new ideas and approaches developed through research. New treatments must prove to be safe and effective in scientific studies before they can be made widely available.
What Kind of Studies Can I Participate in at Axon Clinical Research?
✕Axon Clinical Research has several departments that conduct many types of day, evening and overnight studies. The six primary types of studies that we conduct are:

How am I Compensated?
✕Axon Clinical Research compensates every volunteer for their participation in our studies, anywhere from $60-$6,000 for time and travel. Study compensation differs for every study, generally based upon the length of study, number of visits, whether the study requires a special or pre-existing condition (like dry skin or acne), or an overnight or extended stay.
Is There a lot of Paperwork?
✕If you choose to volunteer for a study, the first step is filling out a Participant Information Profile (PIP). The information you provide will be entered in to our database, which will help us decide which studies to offer you. Each study requires that you read and sign an Informed Consent document, before deciding whether a study is right for you.
Can I Leave a Study at Any Time?
✕We appreciate your participation and encourage every volunteer to complete their study, but yes, you can refuse to join a study or you may leave a study at any time.
What Kind of Protection do I have as a Study Volunteer?
✕We are always looking for individuals to take part in our clinical studies. The success of our studies is based on our volunteers who give their time to test the safety and effectiveness of various treatments and medical devices before they are released into the marketplace.
