Axon Clinical Research is conducting a clinical trial evaluating the effectiveness of Amnio-Maxx, an investigational wound treatment for chronic diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs).

Key Eligibility Criteria:

✅ Age 18 or older (50% of participants must be 65+)
✅ Diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes
✅ Have a Wagner Grade 1 or 2 diabetic foot ulcer present for 4–12 months
✅ Ulcer shows less than 20% healing over 2 weeks
✅ Ulcer size between 1.0 and 25 cm² after cleaning
✅ Adequate circulation to the affected foot (measured in clinic)

You may NOT qualify if you:

🚫 Have had the ulcer more than 1 year
🚫 Have severe uncontrolled medical conditions (e.g., heart, liver, kidney disease)
🚫 Are taking immunosuppressants, chemotherapy, or topical steroids on the ulcer
🚫 Have received certain tissue grafts or hyperbaric oxygen recently
🚫 Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have cancer in the ulcer area
